Pod
A pod is a sort of cross between a woven wrap and a mei tai. It's a long rectangular panel of fabric with two ties coming off the corners on one end. They are very comfortable and often people find them more accesible than wrapping. They are also easily adjustable so can be used from tiny to toddler. We have one Crafty Little Slings pod in the library.
Tonga
The Tonga is a lightweight, one-shouldered, carrying aid. It folds down super small but means it is great for keeping in your handbag to bring out when older children suddenly need an "up". Also great for getting two and from the car as it means you only need one arm to carry so the other is free for shopping or another child. We have one Tonga in the library
Hippychick Hip Seat
The Hipseat is a generous back supporting belt incorporating a built in seat for babies as young as six months and toddlers as old as three to perch on. Its innovative design protects parents from the huge strain that can be put on backs by carrying heavy children for prolonged periods of time. We have two of these in the library.
Weego Twin
The weego twin is a soft structured carrier that allows you to carry your twins on your front from 3lbs to around 6 months depending on how heavy they are. It is not the most comfortable carrier on the market, especially as your babies get heavier but it can be a great simple introduction to carrying twins. We have one of these in the library.
Minilou
The Minilou isn't strictly a baby carrier, instead it is a carrying aid that allows for easier skin-to-skin / kangeroo care with premature babies. It is worn sitting down and is a bit like a light vest top so can be used with very small babies and the straps unbutton for easy breastfeeding. We have just one of these in the library.
Lodger Shelter Carrier
The Lodger Shelter Carrier works as the sort of carrier I wouldn't normally recommend, as it is used a bag sling. However, these are useful for transporting baby from house to car and car to house without waking and so I have one in stock that is not for renting but you can look at to see how it works etc.
